South Glens Falls

South Glens Falls is just across the bridge from downtown. Bikers and hikers on the Feeder Canal Trail will find it an easy detour to cross the bridge, see Cooper's Cave and continue on the lovely paved trail through the riverside park to the South Glens Falls Beach. In the Summer of 2009, they had free live music in the park every Tuesday night at 6:00pm. Besides the park, trails, and beach, there are some great restaurants in South Glens Falls including Gino's Pizza and Mr. Bill's Car Hop. There's also Sorrentino's - the best market and deli in Glens Falls. I ordered my Jaindl turkey from there for our first Thanksgiving in Glens Falls.
