Downtown

Downtown is so much fun with its beautiful architecture, historic buildings, galleries, charming shops and elegant dining. The town is always dressed up for the season. Festivals and often free activities are frequent with live music at some of the restaurants, movies and concerts at the library, films at Aimee's Dinner & Movie, wine tastings at Uncorked, and performances and hockey games at the Civic Center, and events at the Charles R. Wood Theater. On the Saturday mornings, there's a farmer's market that runs all year. In the warmer months when it is held outside, there's often live music, a free bounce house and free pony rides. Parking in downtown Glens Falls is FREE! If you don't like to parallel, there's a lot behind main street on the left if you're coming north from the river. It even has trees to provide shade in the Summer. There are also some pull in spots and a free municipal lot off of Ridge Street on the opposite side of town. There's also a beautiful park in back of the library with a gazebo.
