Bike Trails

Between the Feeder Canal, the beautiful South Glens Falls trail that runs along the river, and the bike trail to Lake George, you can bike for miles in the Glens Falls area. The trail to Lake George can be picked up at Cooper's Cave Ale Company on the east side of town or at Sprinkles in Queensbury, among other places. There is also a parking area off of Country Club Road just north of Sprinkles that has a map; however, the last time I was there, you had to look very closely for the blue line indicating the trail as it had rubbed off in some places. It's surprisingly gentle for a trail into the Adirondacks. A good bit of it is shaded through the woods, going past some lovely cliffs and streams. It's one of the prettiest bike trails I've ever been on.
